The initial Wall Graffiti project at Eden Gardens was initiated in 2017 in collaboration with Asian Paints. The ideation, illustration and execution was done by Creocraft. The graffiti was done on the Club House Gates Front façade that is spread across 3500sqft (approx) of area.
The project was completed in a time span of 15 days (from curation to execution) just before the India-Sri Lanka Test Match.
Story - The graffiti narrates the story of a few youngsters who step inside Eden Gardens stadium for the first time and are lost in its magical charm. It is depicted in the form of a dream sequence amidst the lights and stars that takes them through the magical moments of cricket that occurred on this iconic stadium over the years. Iconic actions of cricketing heroes were brought to life on the walls with a splash of colours. A piece of the City of Joy was added through the iconic Howrah Bridge, Victoria Memorial, Yellow Taxi…
