Rhythm Dhaker Ladai, a battle of Dhakis during Durga Pujo in Kolkata. It was a pioneer initiative to promote dhak and dhak players of Bengal. Dhaker Ladaai brought many star dhak players of Kolkata Pujo in limelight.

Dhakis are an indispensable part of Durga Puja. Through this endeavour of Dhaker Ladai all Puja committees took extra efforts to make their Dhakis eligible for the contest.

Thus, this initiative practically rebuilt the Dhak as a form of traditional performing art of Bengal and reclaimed it from extinction. In the sea of Pujo parikramas, this initiative had stood out.
